How do i promote my server more any ideas?

You can make a thread in the #server-development:server-bazaar! If you have already then word of mouth will be your best bet. 
Looking for players? Well I have some Dos and donts.
DOS:
- Video trailor (Create a trailor for youtube) (Do tags and so on)
- Word of mouth (friends / Ask friends who play this game to boast on how perfect it is)
- Forums and discords (Obviously use the sections for advertising)
- Make sure your server stands out, Why would anyone want to join a similar server like the rest.
Don’ts
- Spam your IP in area where prohibited (Other servers, Forums and discords)
- Copy another server (why would someone want to repeat the same shiz)
- Don’t quit, Time is what you work with.

What discord should i promote in can i promote it in the fivem discord or is that against the rules for there server

You can only promote your server in #server-development:server-bazaar on the forums, not in our guild
2021 EDIT: You can now also promote your server in the discord’s #bazaar channel
