Chief Louis and a deputy with the Senora County Sheriff’s Office immediately responded to shots fired on Alhambra Drive. The shots fired occurred right outside their police station, while another subject was being booked inside. One person has been declared deceased as a result of a homicide, and no one else is reported to be dead or injured at this time.
When the person who shot was apprehended by officers, they fled the scene. They went off-road at a high rate of speed, and crashed on the intersection of Mountain View Drive and Alhambra Drive, resulting in their truck being severely damaged. The subject immediately died on scene. The officers took multiple pictures of the scene to add to the incident report, and did inventory on the vehicle. It was later found out that they had a warrant (2nd Degree Murder) out for their arrest. Officials are still trying to figure out the subject’s motive behind the murder outside the station.
