FiveM Updating stuck on a random percentage commonly only 54%

Tried Clearing my cache then my game wouldn’t update at all kept getting stuck at a random Percentage

any help is appreciated!

also i saw the Server API was down for a few idk if that’s related to downloading FiveM.

Legit or Pirate copy? Legal
Steam/CD/Social Club? Social Club

Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? Yes

Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? Yes

Also add what you already tried so far.

Disabling Anti Virus
Disabling my Windows Defender
Disabling my Malware software (Malware Bytes)
Disabling my firewall.

now my updating FiveM is stuck at

that idk how to fix.

Update tried Validating my game still nothing.

all of my log files are:

CitizenFX.log (150 Bytes)
and
CitizenFX.log.1 (205 Bytes)

Fixed my Error now i’m receiving the stuck at 54%

any fix?

Are you using any antivirus that blocked it ?

not that i know i thought i disabled all of them let me check WD

Even if you disable Avast it will run in background , just delete it or add fivem to exclude folder , I posted a topic about how to do it

ok i added it to my exceptions i’ll try it now.

IT WORKED! THANK YOU OMG I’VE BEEN WAITING ALL DAY.

for future reference do the following:

1. Find your FiveM Application Data
2. Under the avast program Click Menu -> Settings -> Exceptions -> Add exception
3. Add your FiveM Application data URL
4. add another exception to the FiveM.exe app. i have mine on my desktop. so for example do C:\Users\Rhys19\Desktop\FiveM.exe <- that should add the EXE File

^ that fixed it for me!

Happend again with exception just uninstalled avast Temporarily and now it’s working once again i’ll reinstall avast once i’m done it’s only when i reinstall FiveM
