So i’ve seen this map edit on FiveM before and the OG one is a menyoo build?
Does anyone have any knowledge of how to convert other Menyoo map edits into ymap files?
Would be amazing if anyone knew 
Use CodeWalker.
(choose Project window...)
… then save the .ymap from the File menu.
There are other tools that do this, but CW is the only one I know of that a) calculates (somewhat) proper extents to prevent the ‘Building pool’ error, b) converts car generators and c) saves a .ymap directly without needing any conversion tool.
