vMenu

Which version are you using? And anything < 5ms is common for vMenu. There are a shit ton of features in vMenu, so it also depends on how many features you have enabled. Also make sure you didn’t accidentally enable debugging mode in the __resource.lua because that significantly decreases performance.

name 'vMenu'
description 'Server sided trainer for FiveM with custom permissions, using NativeUI.'
author 'Tom Grobbe (www.vespura.com)'
version 'v1.5.0'
url 'https://github.com/TomGrobbe/vMenu/'
client_debug_mode 'false'
server_debug_mode 'false'
experimental_features_enabled '0' -- leave this set to '0' to prevent compatibility issues and to keep the save files your users.

i deactivated the blips and all other is on default

permissionscfg i made following settings.

setr vmenu_menu_staff_only true
setr vmenu_menu_toggle_key 288
setr vmenu_enable_weather_sync false
setr vmenu_enable_dynamic_weather false
setr vmenu_allow_random_blackout false
setr vmenu_enable_time_sync false

That all looks fine. Is your server up to date?

im using the windows version

Then I have no idea what the issue would be if you’re experiencing a lot of lag. Other than the ‘normal <5ms’ cpu times.

3ms at ~70fps (when CPU bottlenecked) will indeed lead to ~57 FPS; which does not seem desirable.

well i will test it some days  Thanks for your time .

Not sure if you’re aware or not but the changelog website is unreachable.

Awesome update btw!

I’m having a bad problem with this plugin :frowning:

“vMenu is using ** MiB of your RAM”

The worst thing is that the ram usage grow within the time, and then you have to restart the game. How can i fix it?

Blame NativeUI. You can’t fix that yourself unless you find the memory leaks in NativeUI.

However ususallly, nearly empty c# resources also have increasing memory which always gets reset around 20mb. Same with vMenu. Only in rare cases does it not get reset. There’s absolutely no reason why you’d have to be restarting the game every time.

Fixed the link in the post, should’ve been https… somehow my nginx on that server has a weird http/https issue. Thanks for reminding me to fix this soon

Vespura, I could do it, but I’m new in plugin development… What did you suggest? What NativeUI do you use?

“I have problem”

Useless info right?
Provide some actual info and I might just be able to look into it.

Download vMenu.

it’s a bad choice, isn’t it?

“normally” that doesn’t happen. I have no clue what the fuck went wrong there, possibly corrupted files or something throwing errors.

in 1.4.0 version not any problem but this version using my ram

Memory leaks… memory leaks everywhere. Even if you blame NativeUI I mean, ultimately this is your script. The newest version is pretty unsable. Average person is losing 20FPS just from a menu that’s not even activate/on screen. Don’t get me wrong, I’m appreciative and feature to feature, you have the best menu out there but we’ve had to disable it on our server. :frowning:
