vMenu

M by default

The default keys can be chabged under line 16 of the permissions.cfg (using notepad ++)

To get permissions working inside the permissions.cfg add your admins and moderators in the admins and moderators groups (using there steam hex) to lock permissions to certain things find that option in the permissions.cfg (example player options menu) in the line that says “add_ace builtin.everyone “vMenu.PlayerOptions.All” allow” add a hash (#) so it will look like this “#add_ace builtin.everyone “vMenu.PlayerOptions.All” allow”

Then find the line you want (example “#add_ace builtin.everyone “vMenu.PlayerOptions.God” allow” remove the hash from that line and where it says “builtin.everyone” replace it with group.admin

Be advised if you do it this way when you hash out the "playeroptions.all " part you have to remove every other hash (god mode, invisible, stamina ect) and just add group.admin to the ones you want only admins accessing

im trying to add some addons to the list but i dont know how to make the vehicle model different than the name.
for example:
my model name is: GS350 and i want to type at the line Lexus GS 350
when i type it in the addon.json it tells me:
gs (gs350)
i want it to be:
Lexus GS 350 (gs350)
can u help me how to do this?

You do realize that the person you’re replying to, was a message from March 3rd…?

Nope. You’ll have to edit the source code.

I’m currently searching for a good menu which my staff team will use. I see that you can edit permissions, but can you also config it that only admins (by steam identifier) can open this menu? So only listed steam:ids can open it?

That way it would work as a admin menu instead of a trainer for everyone to use. Because it looks really good and has loads of features.

Nice menu anyway!

It’d help if I didn’t have to type this over and over and over and over and over (x99 million) again.

I’m sorry :stuck_out_tongue:

EDIT: Haha it was the 2nd FAQ question

thanksssss

Heya, I’m having some issues with vMenu at the moment, It appears it is failing to start up on the server start and even after doing a restart too it also fails…

Help is greatly appreciated!

@TechRoyal https://docs.vespura.com/vmenu/faq/#q-vmenu-v1-4-0-no-longer-works-or-the-permissions-and-or-options-no-longer-work-since-v1-4-0 Same solution for this issue

I have read this, and it hasn’t actually fixed anything. I am running Version 2.0.0 and still nothing works.

Thanks for a quick reply too but I dont know what to do at this rate.

Edit: I’d like to mention it worked perfectly fine on another server config and then transfering it over to my current server failed.

Reading it won’t fix anything yeah. Actually following the steps and updating your server does. Your server is outdated, but you probably either refuse to believe it or you just don’t know what a server version even is because I gave you the answer and you didn’t even show anything remotely close to doing something to resolve it. Or trying any of the steps provided.

Edit, what’s your server IP? So I can verify you actually updated it.

No need to come on a little harsh there. I’ll re-read it and try what you’ve just suggested there.

The issue is you’re not the first person. You’re probably the 2000th person asking the same thing. That’s why I might be a little harsh. You’re just the unlucky person that gets this response.

Ahh no worries, it happens.

Anyways, If it doesn’t work - I’ll still let you know :stuck_out_tongue:

Hello, I was wondering if there is any way of disabling things in the menu I put the # in front and it still does not wanna work.

Put the # in front of the line, not in front of “allow”. Also put it in front of the line that says vMenu.<SubMenu>.All

Can’t seem to find
