Street Justice Roleplay (Judge Dredd) + (Serious RP)

Hello,
We are Street Justice Roleplay and we are a new serious roleplay community and we are looking for members to join the justice department. We have several opening divisions to join if those that are reading this post are interested in joining.

Divisions to join:
Street Judge Division: The Street Judge division is the backbone of the Street Justice Roleplay, they are our primary enforcement division, responsible for responding to calls and patrolling the entire territory that the San Andreas 01 Justice Department has under it’s control.

Psycho Intelligence Division: There will always be criminals around to squash and weed out, but some are better than others, some can skirt past the sharpest mind in the street judge division, there are also some cases that are too hard for even a street judge to handle, that’s where the Psycho Intelligence Division comes in, this division is responsible for all undercover operations and cases that are passed to them by the street judges, as well as any cases where a citizen is gunned down in cold blood, etc.

Sector Control: The judges may patrol the street and enforce the law, but sector control is the one that makes sure that the judges aren’t overloaded with calls and that judges on the ground have all the relevant information pertaining to an assigned call that they need. As a control operator, you are responsible for making sure that the entire justice department, minus those above your pay grade are able to get their jobs done to the best of their abilities.

Airwatch Division: The flying boys and girls of the airwatch division are the ones that are responsible for keeping track of criminals that the judges can’t keep up with in the air. They are also responsible for transporting black ops judges to far away locations and returning them back to the black ops HQ. Members of the Airwatch division are expected to keep a flight log and maintenance log of their airship/aircraft during their shift.

Special Judicial Squad: When a Judges loyalty is in question, or a questionable death is reported to the psycho intelligence division, but nothing seems to add up in the details, or if a judge has decided that they want to go rogue and take out their fellow judges, the special judicial squad is there to make sure that the line between loyalty and rogue elements within the justice department and all are held to the high standards of the justice department.

Black Operations Division: Some say that Black Ops judges are the best in the justice department, others could disagree, but whatever the case, the black ops division is there to keep the entire city from falling part and working closely with the street judges, handling the situations that judges are not expected to handle and can’t handle because of the constant stream of calls they are given to handle at any one time, this is where the black operations division comes into play, trained in the art of unconventional criminal warfare and other specialties that are classified to any justice department that don’t have the clearance to view such files.

We are in need of division leaders for our community. We are also searching for a developer, we are looking for someone who can make us custom scripts and models for both players and vehicles as well as some custom weapons.

The following divisions in our community have no division leader and are open to be applied for in our community:

Street Judges Division
Psycho Intelligence Division
Med Ops (this division is both fire and ems combined)
Black Operations

As far as development work goes, we are looking for developers to make the following custom scripts/ingame models for players to use, drive and shoot with. We have many plans for using these models in very interesting ways for roleplay.

Some of the custom scripts we are looking for includes, but is not limited to:

A portable lie detector that a street judge can carry on their person and use as needed in the field.
A MDT that can be used on a street judges lawmaster and while on a foot beat to look up information pertaining to a criminal as well as see all current and available calls to report to a dispatch operator as well as set status and request additional needed resources to his gps beacon.
A script that provides a command to drop a gps beacon for all other in area street judges that can see and have a notification pop up on their hud saying “Judge (name here) has dropped a gps beacon at point (coordinates for dropped gps beacon here).”
A script that provides different ammunition types for use by a street judge or a criminal if they can get a hold of the ammunition from a street judge. An Example of this would be something like a Taser round that can be fired from a Judges carried firearm (lawgiver pistol)
or from a long gun (widowmaker shotgun or other long gun), etc.

Lastly, we are still looking for dedicated, motivated and serious individuals who love to serious rp, but we still accept anyone as a cop, fire or ems member of our community, we try to provide you the member with an excellent rp experience and a place to call home. Q&A:

Q: What exactly is a Street Judge?

A: The role of Street Judges combines those of judge and police officer, thus avoiding long legal wrangles by allowing for criminals to be tried and sentenced on the spot.

The Judges themselves are not above the law – a violation that would earn a citizen a few months in an Iso-Cube would get a Judge a twenty-year sentence, to be served at hard labor on Saturn’s moon, Titan, after modification to enable the convict to survive outside there without needing an expensive space suit.

Q: Why is everythings like street judge division
wheres the police etc.?

A: Street Judges are police, they take both the role of police officer, court judge and jury as well as executioner if needed,
Airwatch is our Aerial Support Division
Med Ops is our Fire and Ems Division
Sector Control are the dispatchers
and Civilians are civilians
Black Ops is like SWAT
Civilians are the ones that provide all the roleplay scenarios for our judges and other civilians.

Context for server setting and lore:

My community is not doing something based off real life or within the universe of GTA. We are trying to do something based off a British comic book series known as Judge dredd, where the future is a post-apocalyptic nuclear wasteland with only a few habitable zones and large swaths of land that aren’t inhabitable and are home to people with mutations and abilities that would not be considered normal by a human being. The earth in this timeline is also home to Mega Cities that have cities contained within them, a city within a city. The habitable land stretches from one part of the world to another, for example: Mega city one, a Eastern United States city that stretches from the city of Boston, to the city of Washington D.C, our democratic capital. These Mega Cities hold 800 million people in an area designed for 300 million.

The law is not democratic, there is no democracy in this setting, there is only one law, the law of the mega cities, democracy is instead replaced with a police state, where all governmental, city services and emergency services are all handled by one main entity, the justice department.

To enforce the law, officers with the powers of court judge, jury and executioner are patrolling the streets, 99% good, 1% corrupt, these officers are known as ‘Street Judges’, or simply ‘Judges’ by most people, Judges must enforce the law and not be lenient with people because if they are seen as weak by others, they can be exploited, tortured, corrupted, abused, not be listened to, or even killed because criminals don’t let mistakes go unpunished and will kill weak minded/willed judges. Those that become corrupt and are caught are sentenced to an extreme sentence for betraying the law, judges are not above the law and are held more accountable for their crimes than the citizens. For example, a crime like shoplifting that would earn citizens a couple of months in a cell, would earn a judge 20 years in a work camp on Saturns moon, Titan. With modification to help them survive the atmosphere of course.

The future, while post-apocalyptic and a nuclear wasteland, their are many technological advancements, such as sentient artificial intelligence, robots that can think, work and do tasks assigned to them on their own, flying cars, etc.

We are in need of officers and members as well as command officers for unfilled spots in divisions that have no commanding officer.
