Streaming a collision (.ybn) causes the collision to unload

Hi all, I’m experiencing an issue where streaming a collision file causes it to unload. Regardless if it’s a vanilla .ybn or a modified .ybn, if I stream it to FiveM, the collision will be ‘unloaded’ until you step through a portal, which then the game will load the collision. Once you leave the area, the collision gets unloaded again.

Does anyone know why when streaming a .ybn the game does not keep it loaded all the time as it should be? I am specifically streaming the hei_heist_police_dlc.ybn. I’ve tried streaming the .ybn, .ydr, .ytyp, and .ymap together, and I’ve also tried streaming the whole packfile, however the collision still stays unloaded until you walk through a portal.

Note this only happens in FiveM.

do you happen to have any repro for debugging this?

maybe multiple dlc levels have the same collision?

Hi @dons i have that issiue, my .ybn appears in two locations, dlc, and vanilla. Do you know how to fix it?

Maybe try backing up your original files
Then replace the vanilla and dlc collisions in both folders
