Removing mumble issue

Operating system: Windows Server 2019

Incident

Summary:

  • Mumble VOIP component disabled.
    The FiveM client try to reconnect even if mumble is not activated.

Expected behavior:

  • Not reconnect

Actual behavior:

  • Try to reconnect to the mumble server (but he is not enabled)
    Your console is being spammed by reconnecting logs.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Disable the voip:mumble component.

Thanks for the report. This is not too simple to fix; we’d need some way to signal from server -> client that Mumble is enabled, to only try connecting if that is the case.

One more thing, some client keep reconnecting / some not
The first “reconnect” log is => [mumble] socket close
got it after 30 minutes in-game

i know this post is old but is there a solution in the meantime ?
