Hey all! I’m really sorry if this is in the wrong thread i have never posted on any forum before so sorry in advance.
Now the issue, I’m tring to install vRP_Basic_mission located : https://github.com/ImagicTheCat/vRP-basic-mission
it throws the error in the log and screen shot i know my vrp cfg is fine because if i unload missions all works fine i’m at complete loss even with unmodified files in the missions folder just the default ones i get this! any help would be great!

Most vRP resources developers should have checked vrpex by now, it will be the next version of vRP.
The current fxserver branch will probably be tagged to “0.5” and vrpex will be merged into fxserver.

Query @Imagic - are there any known issues running a vrp server and vrpex server side by side?

I’m in the process of a rebuild and migration from legacy vRP over to vRPex and have run into some issues during the client login on the vrpex install.

I’m aware - I didn’t seem to find any similar issues however I will have a second look.

Not asking for you to “fix my problem” or “tell me how” - I just wanted to verify if it was a known conflict, and that I was wasting my time triaging.

A message to the FiveM community (because I never experienced that elsewhere except on a very old programming forum and at least it was regulated):

Lot of people here are asking me personally things that they can find by themselves, I even got issues on GitHub just to ask me questions answered in the same webpage they used to send me the message. I have no problem with lack of understanding, not understanding things is the step before understanding them, but I do have a problem with the way most people here “try to understand things” and I don’t see much talking about this. In fact, every time I explained to someone that they should look the information by themselves instead of asking me (faster, and you don’t have the frustration of waiting for someone to answer you, and you learn things, you learn how to learn), I’m called “rude” or “not caring about helping people”. Just to be clear, I don’t care about being rude, I care about explaining things. Not to YOU, but everyone, so I wrote a README (documentation) on GitHub. Still, people are asking me in private messages solution of problems explained on this README.

So, this message is not a message of frustration, it is first a way to explain to people getting mad at my answers or my lack of answers why I don’t answer. It’s also to speak about a problem that I though long gone from forums (in fact, even private messaging people to solve issues is a first for me, never saw that before). And first of all, to make you understand why doing this is wrong because it’s a waste of my and your time. Take time to learn how to learn (search tools, GitHub issues, learn Lua also) and you will slowly find things easier and easier. If you still don’t want to do that and just wait for people to answer your questions instead, because it’s a lesser cost for you, don’t be surprised if you find me rude (not because I am, but because I will just ignore you or close your issue without warning).

There is nothing personal, to my point of view it’s just an inefficient behavior.

Anyone free to help me with something? I have been trying to figure out how I can make it so everytime for example a mechanic uses a repair kit or EMS uses a medkit they get a aptitude point? I know how to do it with transformers but obviously they are set locations, i am just wondering what the function would be such as “Give exp”?? maybe?

I used a base vrp to mount my server, and now after all ready, I discovered that pvp is not working! The survival.lua file is set to pvp = true but does not work. Can someone help me?

I am using vrp and was trying to make a basic script to make it so you have to be set as the correct job to use a particular vehicle but I could not get my head around the tunnelling etc so I took a different approach to it and decided to add this to the bottom of vrp_garages\client.lua

It is half working in the sense that if a player gets in the flatbed3 then it makes it undriveable and it displays the message however, this occurs no matter what your job is set as.

Any help of any sort to get this working will be very much appreciated

Got the latest FiveM FX server update, and was setting a server up with this, loading vrpmysql first and then vrp resource after, but im getting this error - FXServer with latest version on Windows. Any way to fix this?
