[Release] Traffic | Sync Traffic Values

Hey Everyone,

I provide to you my traffic adjuster, it disables dispatch as well as clearing cops, and a should prevent cars from spawning on you (hopefully), as you drive around.

  • Not another one you say?
  • What makes this one so different?
  • Can I complain about my “Oh so obvious” ban here?

:mascot:

I have removed certain things and recently rebuilt this

Every minute, each client will recalculate how many Peds, Cars, Parked Cars there are.

Why did I do this:

Not every sever is hitting max population the entire time.

Some servers may need a little bit of a Ped buff during non peak play times, to make the overall feel of the city, alive and well.

Future Features:

  • Remove vehicles based on blacklist.

Download from GitHub: Here
Please read the: README.md

Please Note: I have not as yet tested this with a higher pollution… other than myself #foreveralone :sob:. If you could be my testers that would be marvellous.

Could you please make this as a standalone so players without ESX can use it?

Somebody didn’t read the Readme!

Just remove the first few lines that talk about esx.

how do i make it max population of vics and peds in the config??

My adjuster is trying to take into account onesync and manageable amounts of traffic as the population increases.

But if you just wanted it to work.

In the config.
Change the numbers to 1000 - thats the default amount of peds/vics.
Change the numbers to 2000 - thats double.

If you are doing you own server, you will need to learn a great deal.

The number that is closest to the “=”.
The other information is just comments in the code…

I recommend you use a program that can help you visually identify what is what with colours.

As for the Cron, it will still do what you want it to do without it, or should.

Otherwise click up on the name of the author on github and look there for my other resources.

I’m not going to “Release” it, because all I did was edit it a little from another source.

What errors are you getting in your console?

What did you edit, if anything, before you tryed it?

Please try to be as descriptive as possible, otherwise the help anyone can provide is limited.

no errors and this is what i edit

Ok, and exactly what wasn’t working?

Again, 1000, would be a normal or the regular amount of npc’s.

so is this the max? or 2000 is the max i might have mis understood what you meant erailer

So, here’s the thing.
The maximum amount is what ever you want, that doesn’t cause your game, or the server to crash.

Thats something you need to figure out.

What is the best setting for a 128 slot server?

The current setting, out of the box, are what I setup for 128 slots.

But really, it comes down to what you experience to modify/tweek to your own needs.

I will not reply to DM’s asking what is the best number for a certain amount of slots.

Go figure it out for yourself.

Also OP updated: to reflect all mentions of ESX being removed, to not confuse vRP users.
