I have the same issue. When i go to that page all i get is “Cannot GET /signup”. And i can’t find any other place where i can read how to fix it.

EDIT: readme has been updated.

SO @IceHax, I now have this thing installed and up and running… But it seems as though every time i try to run a name that i entered in a seperate test account it throws an error of some sort and locks the whole thing down… then i restart and try again… Any ideas?

@icehax I narrowed it down to when someone enters something under “insert police record” for their name so there is a return, it seems to lock the server down and all testers lose connection to it. Any ideas?

i’ll debug it and i’ll let you know.

Its not letting me download the dependents through CMD. Also is it possible to host this web host instead of my computer.

try to run the CMD as admin, and yes it’s possible to host it remotely, you just need a vps or a dedicated server.

I used CMD as an administrator but when i navigate to the folder with it. and then type npm install and hit enter it says it isnt a recognizable command

ok, to fix that, do the following:

  • Open the Control Panel (Click the Start button, then click Control Panel)
  • Click User Accounts
  • Click Change my environment variables
  • Select PATH and click the Edit… button
  • At the end of the Variable value, add ;C:\Program Files\nodejs
  • Click Ok on the “Edit User Variable” window, then click Ok on the “Environment Variables” window
  • Start a command prompt window (Start button, then type cmd into the search and hit enter)
  • At the prompt (C:>) type npm and hit enter; you should now see some help text (Usage: npm etc.) rather than " npm is not recognized…"

I did that and the npm install worked when i used it after going to the directory but this is what came up

npm WARN saveError ENOENT: no such file or directory, open ‘C:\CAD\package.json’
npm notice created a lockfile as package-lock.json. You should commit this file.
npm WARN enoent ENOENT: no such file or directory, open ‘C:\CAD\package.json’
npm WARN CAD No description
npm WARN CAD No repository field.
npm WARN CAD No README data
npm WARN CAD No license field.

no problem sir
