has anyone figured out how to make the amber lights actually flash and reflect. like in polecats videos i use custom visuals. from lspdfr and tried every siren setting in the file.

Awesome dude… this is deffinetly going in my server. Ty for releaseing these.
So I found a fix for this…
1.) Download the custom visuals folder found at: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/12499-custom-visuals/
2.) Change the carcols.ymt into a carcols.meta (Custom Visuals v3.5.0\Custom Visuals v.3.5.0\ELS-style custom lighting (CARCOLS.YMT))
3.) Add the second carvariations.meta found in the file called: “ADD THESE LINES TO CARVARIATIONS.META”
- Make sure the valuse are the following:
<lightSettings value="1" />
<sirenSettings value="17" />
4.) Test on the server.
Now this has been a temporary fix that has worked for me I will show a before and after gyazo below. I will still be messing around with the carcols.meta to make it even better but atleast it looks better.

I feel dumb for asking but here goes. How do I change the .ymt to a .meta? second where do I add the carvariations? again please understand I am new at this and am learning.

If you download this security pack, all you need to do is add the carcols to the data folder and car variations to the data folder as well. There is already a carcols and carvariations file in there, you will just need to edit the carvariations and make sure you do it for each vehicle. I can show my carvariations.meta file at a later time.

Uh, re-download it? If that doesn’t work you may have an anti virus blocking it, but I doubt it since it’s google drive
ive tried re-downloading it every time I click on the download it says “Whoops there was a problem with the preview” but it still lets me download it and I do and when I extract it nothing happens

Check my post above, I just updated it again. I added my vehicle.meta as well. This will make it a non emergency vehicle. So no sirens, yo ujust hit “e” (Atleast E on a server I help on) and the lights will turn on.
thank you for adding the vehicle meta. I was wondering on how to make it non emergent and just a civ style security. Also I have seen a variant that has the rear turn signal lights include on the charger as part of the light pattern. Is there a way to do this?
I will have to mess around with this more. I am sure there is a way but I really just slammed all that together in a few hours and it is good enough for now. I am pretty busy but once I get the time, I will try to make the lights even better.
