Unfortunately, I never heard any way to add red/blue lights on an heli.

same here why would you want lights on it anyway. its not a police car

We’ve got them on our helicopters here in Aus, nothing super flashy like a full lightbar but a few subtle red and blues :).

On topic - texture issues like this are fixed by extracting paintjobs, deleting them in the ytd, and importing them, for whatever reason, even if it is “blah_blah_1” it won’t think it is, it’ll treat it as “blah_blah_2” and it thinks their is no primary paintjob, thus the purple crap, caus it has no image, by reimporting, “blah_blah_1” is now properly there
