Ok,

Iā€™ve followed the directions.
placed resources in fivem server
activated them in the .yml
Went to FiveMServer/resources/essential-mode/server and edited the first line of db.lua, the port, to 5984.
Designated port 5984 in both incoming and outgoing on firewall.
this is where i am when i try to run Fauxton

@Kanersps in the main link above at top of thread https://kanersps.pw/files/essential.zip It appears the es-admin resource is not included. Do we no longer need that in 3.1.0 or do we use the old es-admin resource folder from 2.0? Thanks in advance!

I think I know why you cant run it. I had the same problem.

I was running couchdb on a windows x64 Home editionā€¦ creators update.

I reinstalled windows to its first version and couchdb runs with NO issues.

So I think your problem is creators update.

Oh, that might be the case, thanks SlyFox1186. I am running creators update. I asked in couchdbā€™s irc channel - they said it was a known problem with permissions in Windows that they havenā€™t fixed yet, but didnā€™t give a solution.

Anyway, Iā€™m running it in administrative cmd for now, and beginning to like couchdb.
