Pixelated Fog

So only when I’m in FiveReborn my fog will look like this when it’s raining.
In singleplayer it’s perfectly fine. I have the latest drivers. I hope someone here knows how to fix this.

Might be client-server problem. What did you change clientsided?

@Boss I haven’t changed anything. All I’ve done is install my mod menus but it was happening even before that. In singleplayer I have the same mod menus installed and it looks fine. As I stated it’s only in FiveReborn which is weird. Have you had anyone else come to you guys with this issue?

EDIT: Currently re-installing the game and FiveReborn. I will update this thread on if anything changes.

EDIT 2: I reinstalled both FiveReborn and the game, The issue is still there :frowning:

@Veggum It must be somehow related to your GPU, I’ve had the same issue back on Windows 7 with old AMD drivers. Upgrading to Windows 10 fixed it in my case but I’m not sure if it will work for you… :frowning:

@Bestietasty It’s weird though because It doesn’t happen at all in singleplayer. :frowning:

do u have any mods ?

@GanjaMonster Nope. As I stated it was a fresh install of the game and FiveReborn. After some testing I’ve come to the conclusion that it only happens when a vehicle is spawned. If I am on an empty map it will not be an issue until I spawn a vehicle.

Did you update your drivers?

I see you’re in a custom map. Does this happen on other servers?

@Boss I am on my latest drivers. It is not a driver issue because it does not happen in singleplayer.

@Apocalyptikz It even happens even on my own server with the default map.

GTA V version: Build 877 / 1.36

Up to date: Yes

Legit or Pirate copy: Legit

Steam/CD/Social Club: Steam

Windows version: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit OS

GTA V folder screenshot: Happened even on a clean install. Currently I have some mods installed so screenshotting the folder would do no good. I tried it before anything was installed though and the issue still occurred. It also ONLY happens in FiveReborn and not in singleplayer.

Also add what you already tried so far.

I have Reinstalled GTA V, Deleted all my rockstar files in my documents, and reinstalled five reborn. The issue still occurred. I have also just reinstalled windows 7 the other day and tried it with freshly installed drivers, all updates, fresh game install and FiveReborn install. Still happened. It’s not an issue with my hardware and the game itself because as I’ve stated the issue does not occur at all in singleplayer or GTA:O. It is ONLY in FiveReborn. So it is an issue with the mod. I’d also like to state I never had crashes before I reinstalled windows but now I get them sometimes. So hopefully something shows up in the logs about that separate issue.

Are the textures clear when you are up close? What graphics card are you using? Any game boosters? (GeForce Experience, etc.)

@Apocalyptikz Everything is perfectly fine except the fog. I’m using an amd 6970, it’s kind of an older card but it’s not the card because it works PERFECT in singleplayer. If it was that it would be happening in singleplayer aswell. No frame boosters. As I stated I ran it on a clean install of windows with ONLY GTA:V and ONLY FiveReborn installed and running and it still happened.

Time to get a dev!

@Developer

@Jayceon please check the .dmp

Is this only on a custom map? Or do you also experience this when using the default map?

@kanersps

Empty map? So just the default map?

@kanersps

No matter what map I’m on.
