Correct, this is being looked into.

Most times it only happens on first start-up. If you join the same server again there shouldn’t be any problems.

It crashes anytime… Even if it has completed loaded in.

I have tried making it full screen which fixed some others but not mine.

When “Not in network session” Map does work

when connected to server it DOES NOT work

Try adding enhanced five reborn. Its in the development - releases section in stead of using that trainer.

We use both on our server, what I am currently trying is replaying save game.

I can confirm using enhanced five reborn still causes the occasional open map crash, it usually happens the second time I open fivereborn

Mine is anytime I’m connected immediate freeze it when I pull up map.

To add on to that if you cannot open your map, you also do not have a personal blip on the map Ie the triangle marking location,

Seems to be a server sided issue, there’s a server where I don’t crash on, but every other one I do

I happen to be on this train too, but I haven’t really pinpointed if it’s server related for me. I’ve been on at least four servers and on all of them eventually the game would close.

For me I cannot find any servers that work.

Hello TrevorBarns, this is Chris Severide from the same community, I recently joined. I too have been having issues with the map and I might have found the solution. Are you running the game in compatibility mode? If so, try to change it so that you are NOT running it in compatibility mode. I am on Windows 10 and I found that when I was running in Windows 7 compatibility mode that my player blip would not show up and upon clicking on the map, my game would crash. I turned compatibility mode off and joined our server and there it was, my player blip is there and I can freely roam the map without it crashing. Hopefully this helps you and anyone else out there. I believe after looking at the crash dump files, it has something to do with a .dll file, maybe net.dll? This would explain why it works when compatibility mode is turned off. That’s what I think at least, hopefully this helps developers.

FiveReborn was made in Win10 enviroment. I wouldn’t be suprised if that was the ‘fix’.
