In my opinion ordinary is better.
ELS light patterns aren’t synced IIRC, and using ELS requires ScriptHook to be enabled on the server, which opens way for abuse through means of trainers and other mods of the sort.
Although if this was a question of could instead of should, then yes, you could use ELS.
