Hello I am Nathan H Colonel Of Oregon State Police. I am here to go over the reasons why you should join. First we have Civilian Department. We use a ranking structure here. Trial Civ is your starting rank once accepted, The you will get Civ 4 then Civ 3 then Civ 2 then Civ 1 , Once you’ve reach Civ 1 your at your max rank unless you apply for civilian command where you start as a Civ Advisor then a Civ Supervisor Then Civ Manager. The we have the State Police which is As Realistic as it gets when it comes to police . First You do your app Then you get an interview once you passed you will be Cadet which you have to complete your training which can last from 1 hour to 3 hours depending on the amount of trainee’s. When we Start the day We Call a police briefing which includes the role call The we go over The Basic police steps for anyone who is unsure and we also make sure all officers questions have been answered at the end of the briefing
