I’m not quite sure what your idea here is, but I think that information collecting is supposed to be mysql’s job.
the idea is if you dont want detabase you can .
i had some problems with databases and this is super easy fast way of name & license checking .
i pretty sure alot of small servers would love that but im not an expert
