Hey there, my server is a dedicated server and when i try and start my server i get a server key auth error.
when i try and start it on my home pc it works but it will not work on the dedicated server. ive reinstalled the operating system then it just stopped working and cant verify the key. help please?
if the key dont work you are more then likely not executing your config file.
Need more information in order to help with this problem.
need your config file and info on how you are trying to start the server and a screenshot of the console.
my dedicated server is restarting right now but i just put the basic CFG file into it like a fresh install i use putty and i type /home/bcsrp/run.sh +exec server.cfg thats how im starting it. and i have the key in the cfg.

Well the error says the key isn’t valid. Did you follow the steps of the wiki correctly?
well it isnt saying it isnt valid its saying it cant authenticate the key… which is interesting, perhaps make another key and try it again.
Make sure if you are in the correct directory when executing that code.
cd /home/bcsrp/server-data
bash /home/bcsrp/server/run.sh +exec server.cfg
Can we see a picture of your directory structure please?
i got it idk what it was doing but it seemed to iron itself out thanks yall for the help
