[How-To] Convert Vehicle Add-On to FiveReborn resource

An update on Modkit ID’s. Since the Christmas 2017 Update Rockstar increased the modkit ID limit from 256 up to 1024. Rockstar are currently up to ID 300, so to be safe I started my modkit’s at ID 500 to future proof for any future updates from Rockstar.

Thank you so much after 2 hours of trying to understand everything I did it! The vehicle spawns like a charm no bugs, all works perfectly even the vehicle mods :yum:

what would I do if a car has a vehiclemods file with rpf files for them?

extract the files and pout them in a stream folder and then use the carcols.meta

the mod im converting has hundreds of yft files in the vehicle mods file

yup take those all out and put them in a stream folder and it will read them from there

Hello, I would like to ask why my car module can not be modified in the modification factory after making carpack~ Thank you!

This might be a stupid question but I cannot work this out, in some addon packs there is a audio file, how do I add this to the FiveM resource? At the moment I just edit the vehicles meta and change the audio to something similar.
