it modify the burnout smoke and dust effect. The problem is the modified files are .dat and .ytp. (materialfx.dat, materials.dat, wheelfx.dat, core.ypt) they should go to:
wheelfx.dat:
update \ update.rpf \ common \ data \ effects
materials.dat:
update \ update.rpf \ common \ data \ materials
core.ytp:
update \ update.rpf \ x64 \ patch \ data \ effects \ ptfx.rpf
update \ update.rpf \ x64 \ patch \ data \ effects \ ptfx_hi.rpf
update \ update.rpf \ x64 \ patch \ data \ effects \ ptfx_lo.rpf
Im mostly interested for tires smoke, others parts of the mod don’t matters.
Is it possible to stream these files server side? or atleast use them clientside?
Or should i find someone to make a similar mod dedicated for FiveM?
I tried to put files in my client, like wheelfx.dat here:
FiveM.app\citizen\common\data\effects
And material.dat here:
FiveM.app\citizen\common\data\materials
But it seems don’t want to work.
Maybe because i don’t know what to do with the .ytp file, so i didn’t put it.
get so i smoke mod it has just the files you have used and they go like you have put them and it works just need know how to make the smoke thicker and more of it haha
