As of late, my FiveM has started to really eat the resources, since I’ve had FiveM it’s always used a lot of resources (CPU), yet it seems to be getting worse with the updates over the last few months, to the point the latest update is barely playable. After consulting my Discord (300+ FiveM users) it seems to be a problem for 99% of the people on there, regardless of PC spec.

I can only assume it’s down to optimization, though I’d like clarification on this and to see if there is any known ways to reduce the CPU usage.

The error message when it eventually uses all the resources is “out of memory”. That’s with everything other than Discord and FiveM running. I’ve even tried it with just FiveM running, same issue.

The game play varies from 10 minutes to 30 minutes before it eats the CPU.
