FiveM Doesnt start. GTA launcher loading loop

I downloaded and run the client and I get as far as the game launcher and it just loads and loads forever with no sign of progress.

The closest thread I could find to my problem is this: FiveM won't start help
There is no resolution.

**Steam/CD/Social Club? Steam
**Windows version? 7
**Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? Yes
**Did you try to delete caches.xml and try again? Yes

Ive verified steam directory and reinstalled FiveM repeatedly. There isn’t a lot to try when there is no specific error. It just doesnt get past the launcher.

Any ideas?

You are missing a hefty amount of files in your Grand Theft Auto V directory.

I would advise towards deleting the existing files and reinstalling.

Also, don’t put FiveM. exe in your Grand Theft Auto V directory.
