Did you try to disable/uninstall your Anti-virus? Yes

So apparently it’s a common problem with many people and Windows 10. The Fall Creators Update is causing a lot of freezing. My laptop does it too now since updating it.

But to get back to the point, so I was loading a custom map via invoke-levelload. I was loading sanandreas which has always worked… but because the OS sucks, it decided to freeze up during the process. So now, whenever I try joining any server including my own local server, it just stops during the loading process. It doesn’t crash. It just shows the error snapshot above with the three flashing dots looking stupid as if it’s doing something when it isn’t doing anything at all. So I end up typing “quit” to get unstuck…

Also, another thing I noticed now is that the launcher screen doesn’t pop up anymore. Before it would show the SC loading screen and then the FiveM loading screen before loading up FiveM itself. Not sure if that is contributing to this issue hence the “invalid token” or “citFrames”?

So when I tried reinstalling FiveM, it won’t open anymore. It just stays on the Launcher now… GTAV works fine and all files were verified. This link seems to be a similar issue to this support ticket but it looks like the reply was deleted. :S

The log above shows where it just stops completely. Nothing else populates so I just end up hitting alt+F4 to close out FiveM. Please let me know if you need anything else and what I can do to possibly resolve this? Thank you and sorry for some of the comments. I am just fed up with Windows 10 lately.

From what I can see, those warning messages are just warnings

http://runtime.fivem.net/loadscreen/spotlight-2/WebGL-GTA/js/core.js:51, ‘webkitURL’ is deprecated. Please use ‘URL’ instead.`

Deprecation warning because FiveM recently pushed a new CEF version, nothing harmfull.

http://runtime.fivem.net/loadscreen/spotlight-2/WebGL-GTA/external/ThreeDebug.js:14856, Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64)

Standard debug text, looks like user agent stuff. Again nothing harmful.

http://runtime.fivem.net/loadscreen/spotlight-2/WebGL-GTA/js/core.js:167, [object Object]

Something in the WebGL-GTA code is printing something… not harmful.

:1, Uncaught ReferenceError: citFrames is not defined

Seens this popup more often, doesn’t seem to cause any issues.

So I think you can safely rule out those errors, even though this might not be a solution.

Okay, so I went ahead and followed the solution in the following ticket:

Seems to be working now thanks to IllusiveTea for posting the solution. This support ticket can be closed.
