I looked at a few topics already posted about this error and saw that shadow play was the cause, however I do not use shadow play or any other overlays.

If you haven’t already, here’s a few things you can try:

  1. Perform a clean install of your NVIDIA Graphics Driver. To do so follow these instructions:
nvidia clean install instructions
  • Download the newest driver for your system using this link.
  • When running the installer, make sure to select Custom (Advanced) installation.

  • Then on the next screen check all boxes if possible and make sure to select Perform clean install.

  • Then follow the next steps according to te installer.
  • Reboot your computer to make sure changes are affected and try to launch a game that failed to launch before.
  1. If step 1 didn’t work, try downgrading to the previous video card driver (use the instructions from above but make sure to select a previous driver version when downloading the driver at step 1.)

Hope this helps.

It’s decided to work now, already had the latest drivers too.

Only problem is I keep getting the time out error from servers.

‘Server connection timed out after 15 seconds’

That’s often a bad connection, can be caused by anything really.
