Did you disabled windows defender or any antivirus you got ? Even if you disable it it will run , you need too add fivem folder to exclude list in your antivirus/windows defender

I disabled anything I found in defender and firewall.

Antivirus software, despite being “disabled”, often still has services running in the background. Appropriately add FiveM.exe to your antivirus exclusions or completely uninstall it ( try adding fivem folder in %localappdata%\FiveM\FiveM.app to exclude list

I only have Windows Defender. How do I exclude it in that?

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.windowscentral.com/how-exclude-files-and-folders-windows-defender-antivirus-scans%3Famp

I did that, but nothing changed

Same error ? Look like you messed up with something there.

Well actually I am not getting any error. The game just doesn’t launch.

Yep something is forcing it, try reboot your PC after excluding folder .

Nothing

Well try reinstall fivem and check if it’s working , that’s the only way to fix this issue

try putting FiveM somewere else.

I have tried installing it to an empty folder on desktop and just in the default folder in %localappdata%

doing it from the desktop could be the problem, try putting in to your C:\ drive and try again Windows can be weird with what files can be opened on the desktop due to UAC.

Do I need to reinstall the whole thing or can I just move the files to another location?

try moving first , if it dont work reinstall

Here is a quick video showing what happens when I try to launch it.

like i said something is blocking it , did you reinstall it ?
