2. Intro to CARP
Welcome to California RP. First of all, on the behalf of our current members & staff, we want to welcome you to our community. CARP is a small roleplay server at the moment. Our main goal is to have a populated server, that is FailRP free! We are currently looking for more players. Not just civilians, but LEO, FD/EMS, and even Dispatch. CARP is a non-whitelisted server, but our kind and helpful staff will always take care of our naughty players. We all hope you enjoy your stay!
3. Overview of All Departments
All Departments get Custom Vehicles, Including Civilians!
LACSO - Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office - Patrols Mostly Blaine County
The department head of the LACSO is Cain J. He is very kind and will be a great Sheriff for any incoming deputies. He is, also currently, a trial moderator in CARP, adding to his helpfulness. Cain and his Undersheriff have done a bunch of work for their department.
LAPD - Los Angeles Police Department - Patrols Mostly Los Santos
The department head of the LAPD is Jules. Jules is currently an admin in CARP, meaning he has been in the community from the start. He has dedicated a bunch of time to his department and to the server. He and his Deputy Commissioner will be great leaders for any new Cadets!
CHP - California Highway Patrol - Patrols Highways/Can Help Other Departments
The department head of the CHP is Gonzalez. Gonzalez is currently the Head Admin of CARP. He has done a bunch of work for both his department and the server. He has “skinned” numerous vehicles and has done some other graphical design for our server.
SRU - Strategic Response Unit - Responds to High-Risk Calls
The department head of the SRU is J. Link. J. Link is a co-owner of CARP. He has spent many many hours working on his department and the server. He wants everyone to have a bunch of fun. His department has a member that is currently in the Spanish Police SWAT team. Link hopes you have a great time in his server/department!
CA Dispatch - California Dispatch - Controls Active Units on the Radio
The department head of the CA Dispatch is D. Hamlin. Hamlin is the co-owner along with J. Link. Hamlin is a great leader and will always help his fellow dispatchers. He has obviously done a lot of work along with J. Link to get this server up and Hamlin and Link are so happy you’re here!
LAFD - Los Angeles Fire Department - Tends to Fires and People who Need Medical Attention
The department head of the LAFD is Scott R. Scott is very dedicated to the LAFD. He is in need of more LAFD members, to make RPing more fun and realistic. Scott is currently a moderator in CARP and has contributed a bunch to the server.
CA Civilians - California Civilians - “Patrols” all over CA - These People are Non LEO/FD-EMS
This “department” is non-whitelisted, meaning that anyone can be a civilian. Civilians give the LEO and FD-EMS something to do. These people are necessary to our community and we wouldn’t be a thing without them! They can either act like criminals or “normal people” in the real world.
Note: Not ALL Department Heads Have to be Staff Members. All CURRENT Department Heads are Staff Due to that they Were the First Members of CARP.
Server Features
1. Anyone can be a COP(CSO) - Any player at CARP can become a Community Service Officer (CSO). These CSOs mainly perform traffic stops and assist whitelisted officers. To prevent people from abusing this new power, our staff team will be extra observant and watch people that are active CSOs. To become a CSO, do this command in the server: /onduty.
2. NON-ELS - All Emergency Vehicles do not use ELS. The control for them are the following: Press Q to activate lights. Press r to “blip” your siren. Press Left Alt to activate your siren. Press the up arrow to activate your secondary siren. Press E to use your air horn. Press R while your siren is activated to change the tones.
3. Custom Vehicles - At CARP, all Emergency vehicles are custom. Meaning that they aren’t default from GTA V. We have many custom cars that replace certain default GTA V vehicles. Those may be used by anyone!
4. Kind & Friendly Staff - Our staff at CARP will always be kind, helpful, and friendly. We are always looking for more amazing staff, so please apply if you’re interested!
5. CAD - At CARP, we have our own CAD system. This CAD is made by opencad.io. The CAD system allows for much more in-depth RPs. The cad also includes a section for Road-Side Assistance! Go check it out at: cad.californiaarp.net.
6. K9 - To improve our roleplay experience, we have added a K9 menu. If you are in the K9 division in your department, you will have a bunch of fun watching your dog catch your suspect for you!
