So I need your opinions.
What are the best VPS services to host a RP FiveM server on with around 50 scripts and a bunch of vehicles.
Server locations needs to be United States or Canada.

well if you are asking about vps specs. I’d recommend you to get:
4core or more
8gb ram
+250MB Bandwith (100MB works but your server will be laggy when many people join)
and yes it’s not cheap
I would buy the Zap-Hosting VPS if they had a location in US.

I have VPS for tests from OVH are also good.
They only got 100 mbit/s

I’ve been using a VPS from OVH located in Germany.
GAME-32 Server
Intel i7-6700K
32GB DDR4 2133 MHz
Hybrid Soft RAID 2x480GB SSD
4Tb SATA
It’s been treating us very well ever since we got it.
Absolute monster of a machine tbh, also overkill for most uses though.
I recommend it for if you’re planning on running multiple servers.

I have currently zap hosting for 22.60 but as the server will develop, I will go to ovh. Take ovh servers since they are wonderful. Spend $ 80 and have peace. Good luck on the server!

Does your server has 32 slots or do you use onesync with more slots, and if so, how many?
Reason for asking is, we just went from 32 slots on Zaphosting to 48 slots, onesync, on a different host and we have issues around 40 players. Very instable.

We use the machine to run multiple servers.
Currently we run a minimal of 4 (regular 32 slot) servers to a maximum of 2 (onesync 64 slot) + 4 (regular 32 slot).
Now keep in mind not all servers would be running max capacity but its still pretty nice.
The onesync problems however are simply because its still in Alpha, a very early stage of the development.
Its surprising how well it does work for an Alpha pre-release/test I will give the FiveM team that.
However rumour has it that most issues occur when there are lots of players near each other. So if possible I recommend at least trying to spread out the things players use or have to be at around the map to prevent mass players coming together. See how that works out for you.

Just got a server with OVH but for some reason after setting it all up its not showing up in fivem when I try to direct connect. Any ideas?

Whatever you do DONT USE SONORAN VPS they are horrible.
Don’t use contabo VPS.
Terrible VPS.
my vps has 8core 2.20mhz
30gb ram
and the server internet is so bad probably 30-80mbps
