Authentication error, no valid license

#1

So, I have a legit copy of the game. I have the disc version from day one when it launched for PC. After I get to the Social Club Ownership Verification and sign in with the same email/username and password it tells me I do not own a valid license for Grand Theft Auto. Which I clearly do. Thank you for your time.

I have the exact same issue and I bought the game the way same way as well.
I’m also getting the message “in order to run best your windows 10 is outdated and needs to be updated to creation version 1703” but windows update tells me that I have no new updates

I have the same problem, it says: The Social Club account specified (my social club name) does not own a valid license to Grand Theft Auto V.

I do of course own it.

PC Restart worked for me.

There was an update to try and fix tour issue. Try it and see if it works now.
