According to a moderator, they did once have mumble integrated https://forum.cfx.re/t/voicechat/953/13. The devs have mentioned how bad the native voip is but I don’t know if that means they will re-integrate mumble or optimize the native voip. Mumble support and native MySQL support are my two most wanted features but it may not be at the top of their todo list.
I feel like its such a giant feature that its worth it, in the end, there are work arounds, but this being a standard would be amazing for all communities.

people are still using mumble o.o ? tought it was dead
in recent canary testing builds a mumble server was implemented. Check the github commits for a list of changes.
