Hi,
I’m looking to find how I can stream a custom siren that I downloaded to replace the vanilla ones in-game. Also, if possible, I’d like to change the weapons.awc just like you can in single player on LSPDFR for example, but for everyone that joins my server. I’ve seen it done already on servers such as SoE and DoJRP and would love to try to make it a reality on my own server aswell.
I’ve already tried this after having it suggested to me but I can only see that showing me the single player method.
Any help would be hugely appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Razari

I remember a while ago the devs said it wasn’t possible to stream sounds. I think this is still the case, but I am not sure. I haven’t seen anything about it.

Ah, damn. Do you have a link to how I can do this clientside?
Hello!
First of all, thanks for reading this. The day before yesterday an update was pushed towards all clients, we realise this update came as a ‘shock’ to most people since it wasn’t announced and a changelog wasn’t provided afterwards.
Let’s set a couple of things straight, in a previous update we blacklisted OpenIV to force the developers or community owners not to use it. You quickly found a workaround. Now, you might have noticed we banned it in a diffrent way. This has a reason, OpenIV …

Hello,
are you sure there’s no way to add sound on server side?
Because i’ve seen this:
You already can load those, though? It’ll cause a big initial download, but if you have audio files and a game.dat151.rel + sounds.dat54.rel for it, you can load them.
For example:
files {
'gd/dlcthing_game.dat151.nametable',
'gd/dlcthing_game.dat151.rel',
'gd/dlcthing_sounds.dat54.nametable',
'gd/dlcthing_sounds.dat54.rel',
'dlc_thing/carcar.awc',
'dlc_thing/carcar_npc.awc',
}
data_file 'AUDIO_GAMEDATA' 'gd/dlcthing_game.dat'
data_file 'AUDIO_SOUNDDATA' 'gd/dlcthing_sounds.dat'
data_fi…
And this guy use a resource.lua file with sound file, so…?
